What exactly are you trying to prevent? There aren't virus on Android, we do have malware but as long as you stay away from dubious sites and download apps only from the play store and double check the permissions on each app, you should be OK.
Keep in mind that: antivirus, ram apps, booster apps, battery apps, task killers, task managers will slow down your phone, create issues and drain your battery.
