Mobile network issue

Hi,

I have recently updated my Xperia S to jelly bean update 4.1.2 ( 6.2.B.1.96).

I am facing network issue. Whenever network goes off, it says no network available ( emergency call only)

and it never comes up. N/w search setting is set to automatic.

I have to restart phone to get the network back. Its really frustrating.

Can you help how to solve this issue?

I suggest that you first of all check that you have the network mode set on WCDMA/GSM . If it already on that option I suggest that you try with another SIM card in your phone. If the problem still persists I recommend that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion:
