Mobile data traffic on T2 Ultra not working

I've recently update the phone to 4.4.2 software and I am able to connect to wifi and use the phone normally for calls and sms, but it is not connecting to 2g,3g or LTE despite turning on the mobile data traffic. I have tried restarting the device multiple times and going into airplane mode but to no abail. Can anybody help?

Have you downloaded and installed the MMS and data settings - Open settings then More under Xperia connectivity and then scroll to the bottom and open Internet settings and wait for your choices then select from the list the correct network - Make sure to select the right one as some networks have two - one for contract and the other PAYG
