Can anyone tell me how the background data reduction works? I like the function because i have a small mobile data account.300mb /month. I have Just used my limit because wifi was gone! I like to have only 3g for massages. Not for installing New app, street view. Etc.
There are two phases for the limitation, first is a warning that will tell you about getting close to the limit, then there is the actual mobile data disabling phase,which you can set just below 300 MB.
Okay thans. But i like to Block downloads when wifi is not there. And when i am oud of wifi. I ile together massages etc but not possibillity for big downloads. At my last Phone there was a auto reduction when no wifi
You can set google play app to auto update only when you are connected to a wifi network. You can also restrict background data for apps that use a lot.
