Mobile data connection problems on 4.0.4

When i use large amounts of 3g for a length of time such as video streaming. The connection just drops off the phone still indicates it has a 3g connection but all the apps say they have no connection. My friend on his htc one x has a similar issue after streaming for a few minutes.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem or have a fix for it?

Im on the 453 firmware btw.

I have a similar problem with my ICS not just during video streaming. My 3G data randomly lost, even it shows a H on the status bar. This never happened in GB. Turn off and on data or turn on or off airplane mode does not fix the problem. Only phone reboot can fix the data connection.

Hi did you perform a factory reset after upgrading to ICS? You can try it under Backup and reset but beware that your apps, contacts & SMS will be wipe clean. Photos, music and other stuff should remain. Best to sync your contracts to Google before proceeding.
