Mobile data connection is getting disconnected when screen is turned off

Hi Everyone,

I am facing this issue for a long time now. When I lock my screen the mobile data is getting disconnected. I would say its going into idle mode. and if someone pings me in G-Talk or whatsapp i wont be receiving them. Only when i unlock my screen am getting the notification that too after a minute or so. Is there any solution to this. I am using 4.1.2 and I Extended standby mode is unchecked.

Besides extended standby mode (or Stamina depending on which phone you have) this can also be caused by battery saving apps and task killers. Check what apps you have installed and remove any battery saving apps and/or task managers you may have.
