Hi I'm experiencing something really strange with my Z3 Tablet. For some reason, my power management features doesn't have the option for 'Location Based Wifi' like it's supposed to. Similarly, Google Play settings doesn't include the option to update apps over wifi only. I've searched online but nobody else seems to be having this problem. I've tried all different resets but no avail. Anyone have any idea why?

AwW... I'M On the road most of the time where the tablet is tethered to my phone and I don't want to update then, only when at home.
Anyway thanKS for the prompt reply.
Yeah, there's no way to restrict that as your tablet will still see it as a WiFi connection not tethering.
Regarding location-based WiFi, i believe it uses the mobile network to do positioning and to know when to switch on/off WiFi and since you have the WiFi only variant, this feature would not work without using the GPS and then the GPS would use alot battery instead.
However, with the update to Android 5.0 we have removed location-based WiFi also from our mobile phones. We have made improvements in the WiFi scanning which made the power saving in location-based WiFi nearly negligible. Therefore we removed the location-based WiFi.
There is an option under Data usage - where you can apply 'Network restrictions' which allow you to mark a Wifi connection as a Mobile Hotspot and restrict data usage, display warnings for large downloads etc.
Settings -> Data Usage -> Network Restrictions (top right corner menu)
Hope that helps.
