Hi.

I've just updated my phone to the latest software version - not sure exactly what firmware version it's on, nowhere on my phone seems to tells me what it's running anymore other than now Android 4.0.3 on my Arc S, and 4.0.4 on my Neo, but loads of useful things seem to have been removed - favourites/contacts, screenshot, screen unlock slider, and don't know what to do about it!

Favourite Contacts I can manage without, but the unlock slide looks gone forever, and trying allsorts to get screenshot working (including downloading it as a separate app) doesn't work either. Why can't updates just fix things instead of wiping the slate clean and leaving some of the good and most basic of functions out?

Is there any way to get any of this back, or am I looking at conceeding defeat and doing a system downgrade?

favorites contacts are still there (Tap on the Star on the phonebook)

screenshot is there press and hold power & volume down (for 2 seconds)

screen unlock is there

Thanks for the reply, but I've still got problems:

I now have no star in my phonebook to select my favourites list - the widget is now also missing.

Screenshot, I found out about the change of buttons (it used to appear on the list when you hold down just the power button) - but I get no picture to view, I just get a black screen and the corrupt picture symbol. The only reason I started using this option is that the 'save image' function when you long-press a picture from the web browser has also vanished.

The slide lock is physically there, but it used to have the slide lock before the pattern unlock. Thre problem I have with this is that it now allows it to pause my music player and dial the emergency services while it's in my pocket.

Two more issues spotted today - my battery widget is now stuck on 100% (if only it was true...), but now also doesn't update my e-mail inbox.

As much as I want to like the update, that downgrade is getting much more tempting.
