I have a four-day old Xperia TX. I cannot seem to find the 3D Camera app in my app drawer, but it appears in Settings -> Apps. How do I use my phone's 3D Camera/make it appear in the app drawer? The 3D Album is missing too. I have upgraded my ICS shortly after my phone purchase.
Same here... I never was able to find this option... never since the first day I got the phone.
That sounds a bit strange. Let me check and get back to you.
if it helps, I remember it dissapeared when I updated to 195 firm.
When I got the phone I remember that I saw this 3D camera. But I updated as soon as I got it, so...
On the xperia p this is how to use 3d camera on ics, this will probably work on TX too i guess.
On the xperia p the sepparate 3d camera app is removed as well.
The normal camara should have 3d capability.
Tap the Icon in the upper lef corner of the screen (SCN auto by default) and select 3d sweep panorama. 3D support is probably merged into the standard album app.
I hope this helps!
Nope...
3D Camera is totally lost on the Xperia T firm 195...
No 3D panorama, just panorama... the 3D options is just gone... sure Sony took out this option that was supposed to be one of the main things about the camera.
Anyways, if the pictures without the 3D are terrible, I wont imagine gow they'll look with the 3D
Any idea of where is the 3D option?
it's quite a bummer that the
1) multiangle
2) 3D panorama are gone
Sam wasn't aware of this
to see the 3D pictures just open the picture > tap on the picture > you will see the 3D icon
I know... I did read your post.
Well, I am still missing some answer regarding my post called "About the camera"...
Looks like all the big troubles on this phone turns around the camera.
Perhaps they will fix it some day.
Not much confidence about that.
@johan can we get sphere camera with Jelly Bean
and also an angle free panoramic camera, that way the panoramic will stop when we release the camera button and/or tap on the screen or the on screen button, that will help a lot to avoid the gray areas in the pictures.
