Miro screen unresponsive

So ive had this phone for less than a year and the touchscreen seems dead?

it turns on and gets to the unlock screen,But i cant unlock it with the pattern or make emergency calls neither ?

Nothing on the screen seems to work

its on contract and have had it for less than a year so is it under warranty or something vodafone sort out ?

To rule out any software problems you can try to repair the phone software using the program PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, click start under Support Zone > start under Update phone > select Repair phone (in blue text) > Do all this without having the phone connected to the PC.

Then follow the instructions given to you in the program.
