Mini SD card reading problem

Mini SD card reading problem

I have a 32 Gb mini SD card as my phone's extra memory.

But previously, the phone started telling me there's error reading the card or the card may be "damaged".

I got a whole new one, and thought it worked fine. But lately the images stored inside cannot be completely viewed on the computer through "File Manager" in PC Companion/"My Computer" (there appeared just 11 files, consistently). Taken out from the phone, the card works fine, which probably excluded the possibility of card problem. Now the phone even doesn't recognise every song that I added into it, how strange.

i'm having the same problems...
got my phone begin december and now my phone starts to say that the sd-card is removed when it's clearly in the cardslot

and sometimes when i reboot my phone, it will work for like 20 minutes and then it says that the card has been removed unsafely with a yellow triangle at the top...

the main reason i bought the phone was for the sd-card function...

now it doesn't work, after only roughly 1 month...

we need help!

Sorry to hear about your problem guys.

Have you tried to update the software in your phone's to see if it effects the matter in some way, and hopefully sorts it out?

You can easily update the phone with our program Sony PC Companion, availble for download from the link below.

I think I found an answer to our problem, though it isn't a solution at all...
I found out that 16GB and 32GB micro SD cards are not compatible with the phone, eventhough the specs verify that it should be compatible up to 32GB.

I tried it out with an 1GB micro SD and there were no problems with it =D

Though it kinda sucks that I can't use the 32GB card they gave me.

Same issue with a 8Go SD card after a few days, I have replaced it by a 16Gb, and issue came again after a few days.

I could sort it out by removing all "system" files on the card and changing music file name (to music2) with all my music inside...

Now it seems to work, but I always have "SD card can be removed ..." when I switch off the phone. So I wonder if the issue won't come back in a few days...

Please try yourself and let me know. Any input from support ?
