Microphone suddenly very weak

Hi

I have bought new xperia M couple of weeks back. I feel the mic sensitivity is much low, I have to hold mic very close while talking otherwise it is not able to capture, other  end party can't hear properly. I have tried factory reset and firmare upgrades. Please suggest if anybody have same kind of issues.

Also proximity sensor is not wokring good as expected,even if you move phone bit away screen comes on.

I just called up support they have asked me to download xperia diagnostics from playstore and test.

In testing it works good but while calling issue persists.

So I guess there is no hardware issue.

I also have the same problem.  The other end doesn't hear properly and most often I need to move my mouth towards the microphone to ensure the audio clarity to other end.  Also, proximity seems to turns on often and sometime I even accidentally disconnected the call as my chin clicks the END CALL button in screen.  There obvoiusly need of improvement with this firmware.

FYI:  I updated the firmware to latest version15.2.A.2.5

Hi Guys

I have given It to service centre ..there is a problm in mic they are replacing it now ... I'll receive unit in another couple of days and update you here if it is improved. I'll suggest you to go to service centre.

Today I went to collect the phone, suprisigly , the ear speaker is not working after service!!! Awful experience from customer care They are not even ready to accept there is a proxymity sensor issue. Now I think ihave to wait another couple of days

Customer care is pathetic , another 9-10 days for repair.
