Hi,
I am having trouble with the microphone during calls. It was fine this morning but issue began in the afternoon.
The recipient cannot hear me at all, no noise whatsoever, but I can hear them clearly.
I tried speakerphone and this doesn't work.
The microphone does not work in all the apps I've tried, such as Facebook messenger, however it works fine when I film a video.
I have rebooted in safe mode and the issue was still present.
I have used the diagnostic test and could not hear anything unless I yelled into the microphone, and in that case I could hear it very quietly.
I have uninstalled all the apps that updated today and there were no improvements.
Microphone noise suppression is off (also speaker voice enhancer) as per usual, however I did test it with these on (both separately and at the same time.)
No, nothing is blocking the microphone.
Any suggestions are welcome,
