Micro SD problem

Hi, everyone, I wanted to ask something regarding a problem I've encountered just now.

Yesterday, I got my ICS update for my Xperia Active, and it is running smoothly (well, with little lags here and there) and with a bug or two I've encountered along the way, which is not a big deal.

After updating to the latest firmware, installed in my phone Astro File Manager and another few apps which I've disabled because I don't really need them at the moment. I decided to uninstall Astro File Manager because I'm already using AndroZip. So, it was uninstalled. Few hours later, I happened to connect my phone to the PC and again, Astro File Manager installed to the phone but partly, only 800kb-ish. I cannot uninstall it again from App2SD Pro, so I decided to disable it and try to uninstall it today.

But, today, when I tried to enable again, I can't find the option in the apps menu to uninstall it. I tried to open it, and my phone lags. So, I try to switched my phone off. While turning off, my phone stuck in "Shutting down..." for tens of minutes or so. I tried to press the power button again, no luck. The screen fades into black (like the one if you try to turn your screen off), but the soft keys are still glowing. After another five minutes, I tried to take the battrery off and try to turn it back on again.

After I'm turning my phone on, it didn't read the memory card, where I put the Astro File Manager. And I'm unable to troubleshoot this problem somehow by removing and attaching the micro sd again.

Any suggestions on what should I do or any ideas what happened to my micro sd?

Is it probably corrupted? And should I reformat my micro sd?

Because I've tried to use my friend's micro sd and it works... Slightly_frowning_Face

Thanks in advance.

your phone is rooted right? it may have corrupted your micro sd. you may try to repair your phone using SUS or PCC, and make sure to have your sd card reformatted too.

Both SUS and PCC can't read the card. So, I guess the card is corrupted and done for.

Thank you for replying. Maybe I'll be more careful from now on. Slightly_smiling_Face
