Hello when I purchase this phone they say the mj album is available to dl for free from the phone...in the xperia lounge. However it is saved into the downloads icon app and when I clear the dls the songs are gone! And I tried to dl it again, it always have a error

Have you unlocked bootloader by any chance? It wont work with unlocked bootloaders. Due to drm keys being deleted which is needed to download the songs.

where is the  bootloader  located? and how will one unlock it?

You have to play the songs through the walkman app, you cannot just click on them from downloads. I had the same issue.

no the thing is that i clear the downloads folder and the song is not in the walkman app and i cant download from the lounge as they say there is an error in downloading

I feel your pain as I'm going through the same thing. While troublshoting an issue with my phone I did a factory reset - assuming I'd be able to download the Xperia album again. You know what they say about assume :smileyd_oh:

As you may guess this al ended in tears and I cannot download any of the tracks. I get the same error you do. I had no problems re-downloading the free movies and games - but not the Xscape album.

Looking at the terms and conditions of the offer I notice that they specify one download of the album per qualifying mobile device. So I won't put it past Sony to have blocked further downloads if they have recorded a previous download by a device with the same IMEI number. 

I'd suggest you send a question to Sony tech support.
