Messaging servives eating battery

I have a Z5 and for a long time now my battery is being drained because messaging services keeps running. When i check the battery usage, it is always at the top. I force stop it whenever it comes up and that fixes it for a day and then it starts draining again.
I tried to find solutions online but i cannot find any. Can someone help please?

We'll need more info to better assist you

charge the phone 100% use it as you normally would then once the battery reaches 10%

settings > battery > take screenshots of:

1. the list
2. tap on the graph and take a screenshot
3. back > tap on the top 4 items on the list > take a screenshot of each

post them all here or upload the screenshots to box or dropbox or google drive or etc and post the link

Sorry to hear that Slightly_frowning_Face

Could you also check in your conversations if you have received any MMS that has not been downloaded? If you have one or more, try to download them and if that doesn't work, delete them. An MMS might only be stored for a certain time in the network.
