Messaging Problem

Hi guys! i just recently experienced a problem regarding receiving text messages. I'm not receiving some of the messages sent to me. This happened quite often and happened only after the recent update 9.2.A.1.210. I updated my phone a week ago. I tried using different messaging apps. I tried restarting, removing sim card and all a million times but nothing worked. I don't know if the problem is with the phone or with my sim provider. Other people using the same provider as mine are not experiencing this problem. And it really pisses me off. Hope you can help me with this guys. Thanks in advance! Cheers!

Re-install the latest update with SUS or PCC, also the issue could be that your friends are sending you a MMS instead of a SMS and you either have the incorrect APN settings or your data is off.

Well i will put this here cause its the only place that make sense.

The Jelly Bean 4.3 version on my Sony Xperia V seems to have a problem regarding to the text box. when you want to fix an error in the text that you have made (somwhere in the middle of the text), after that do not allow to advance and write for the place you have been before... i need to delete all the text and start it again. that happens in SMS, or Browsers for example... Some one need to report that... or gimme a link to do so. (cause this is one thing that deserves attention, more for a mobile that do not have phisical pad)
