Messaging minimising

His new to this forum so hello hopefully may learn a few things.

Proud owner of a m4 aqua with a strange fault when I go into messaging (sms) and open a new message it exits out after a second and goes to the home screen. Is this s common fault or something else.

Chrome seems OK but no errors upon testing touchscreen

Do you get any errors before the apps minimize?

Nope nothing no warning just minimises after a second.

that's rather odd, you could repair the phone with XC

btw does the phone has a protective case, film or glass?

Out the box protective film which had been Removed upon setup. I'll have a go at the xc tomorrow since I have a Google account it's just contacts that I need which sync anyways.

So I thought before I try the xc I reset my device and for some reason that has fixed it. I'm just upgrading the software so will see if the fault reoccurs.

OK there's definitely an issue with the software unfortunately like an idiot I updated everything via play and now the problem is reoccurring.
