Messaging issue.

So, I have more than 25,000 messages in a conversation and I can't delete it. Whenever I try to, my phone hangs and I have to restart it and the messages are same as they were. Or just with a 'Deleting messages' popup, the messages still remain same. I can't use any app because I don't want to delete the starred messages. Any solutions?

      do you want to delete all the messages from phone or only selected

if you want to delete everything then, you can try this

>settings -> apps -> messages -> clear data

>if you want to delete selected one then , settings -> apps -> messages -> clear cache, later try to delete those messages

Okay. Thanks, I'll try it. But just to let everyone know, I want to delete just a conversation which contains above 25,000 messages (except starred messages).

the only way i can offer is delete one by one!clear data will delete ALL of yor txts

try to lower the number of txts from 25000

It will take some time,even if you delete a whole conversation.You can also use myphone explorer.

Deleting one by one will take days. And myphone explorer doesn't seem to work too. And as I mentioned, deleting the whole conversation takes time but it still remains the same. Not even a single message is deleted.

yes it will say it take time and deleting wiil apear but if you let it to be for hours at final not even a txt will be deleted

i face this problem on my ol' optimos one with 6000 txt...delet one by one..at the end getting tired and reset it to factory! 😐
