Which picture? is it an MMS that someone sent you or your profile picture? if the later check your G+ profile

Remove your google account,add it again and sync.

I have this same problem too! can't save a my very own contact photo. But when it comes to my friends contact photo there's a display available.

Hello buddy. It's my very own contact photo. I tried setting my G+ account to but nothing changes. ugh pls if ever you know the solution don't hesitate to lend a help on us. Thanks   At the very first place i was a bit excited for the  the 4.3 update yet there's still a problem despite the delayed of the update
