Merge or delete media info

I have transfered some MP3 songs to my Xperia S. The problem is that I downloaded media info from Gracenote through the phone in  the Walkman app and the album art and info is not correct.

So what I need is to find out where all this info is stored? I want the original info stored in the MP3 tag to be used again.

One annoying thing is that even though I have 12 songs in one folder (one complete album) the Walkman app presents one song as a separate song and the other 11 in another folder (in the app, not on the phone if I look through a file-explorer, then it's ok). If I check the media info of the files, then they are the same, same album, same artist, same year....everything the same. Check the picture:

I can offer a suggestion which is to use a free program for your Pc called mp3tag which will ammend the tag and embed the album art ~ Now the only way I have found to have all tracks in the right order is to rename the track numbers for cd2, cd3 etc so lets say cd1 has 20 tracks then track 1 of cd2 becomes track 21 and so on - It's not the answer you wanted but a suggestion or temp fix
