menu soft key after ICS update

Is there a way to restore pre ICS functionality of the menu soft key on the home screen after the ICS update?

I'm so used to invoking it to get to my settings that I'm really missing it after the update, sure I can go into the apps list or the pull down menu to access the settings but that's a bit cumbersome as it felt so much faster with the menu key.

No.

You have to switch to another launcher. I recommend Nova or Apex. Beware tho, some widgets such as the Walkman will not be available in other launchers except the default one (Xperia Home).

Doesn't that belong here? lol. We talk right here about the quick access to the Settings via the good old way everybody knew by pressing the menu button when navigating in the home screens :smileysilly:.
