Memory card issue with W508a

Hi there... I was using my phone with the headset yesterday for music while i worked, had just loaded 50 songs onto the Sandisk 1GB and everything was working fine, then when i finished and went to play the music through the bluetooth on my van stereo there was no music there, got home and connected to the computer thru PC suite and it doesnt show the Memory card under files, yet it had done 8 hrs beforehand... i have done a Master reset, cleaned the card contacts, checked to make sure the connections are clean.. still wont show the card...!!! anybody had this issue or now how to fix it, maybe the card just died..?

Have you tried formatting the card? You could also try putting the card into a different phone to check.

No i havent tried to format the card, i dont have an additional reader to use or view  it on the computeri cant format on the phone either because under the file manager it says that there is No memory card inserted.. will take it into telecom and get them to put a replacement card in and check it, just kinda weird how it stopped working so suddenly..!!
