media go-wrong event date

media go has stopped putting my photos into the correct folders when importing from my mobile, pictures shows correct date for when i took the photo but its putting them all in the same event date folder 14-07-2013, every time i take a photo it shows the correct date it got taken but shows the event date as 14th of this month. Whats happening?

This may perhaps be related to the SD-card problems you've been having that you described in your earlier thread. From what i can see there's no setting that could cause this.

If the problem remains after service, open the explorer in Windows and go to the phones camera folder (DCIM\100ANDRO) and rightclick a picture and select properties. Does it display correct date?

No it does it for internal memory too, i have had my phone back for a while with all the same problems and cannot be bothered to send it off again! after speaking to sony direct, the jokers told me they will pull it apart and might not be able to put it back, if they find nothing im liable for the shipping cost and i get a broken phone back that they cannot put together again,, what a joke, i hate sony phones and will never get sony again, i lost another memory card only after a day of putting it into my phone, i now no longer use memory cards with this phone and advise every one that even mentions a sony phone to google all the problems first, so saddened by this all.

media go is joke too, i checked to confirm the problem and up too yesterday which was my last import of all my photos everything is under correct event dates, ie photos taken on 12th are under the 12th folder, however took 2 today and these show correct date for 13th but i checked on media go and windows they have for some reason been placed in the event folder for the 12th. properties show event 12th too, yet thats not the case it should be for the 13th as in today when i took the photos!!!

i really lost faith and gave up trying to sort this phone out, never ever ever ever ever ever ever, never again will i purchase phone from sony,

please release updates for the phone,

poor company , gave up caring, cost me over 60 pounds in fried memory cards. miss my nokia n8, might go back to that. this phone aint up to standards, good for frying and egg on glass when its getting hot, cant even play games it gets hot then lags on it, its just good for phone calls, oh reminds me of my first nokia 3310.

keep up good works sony, your not that great at making phones, xperia z? really? you sure?, already see loads of issues about heating problems, water getting in, glass cracking. poor camera,

LOL what company makes a phone top notch and gives it no flash for its camera,

shoulda got a galaxy phone.

hope people do their research and find our threads of disappointment, google is good for that, sony embarresment too andriod system.

I have the very same problem with my Xperia Z1 Compact. Media Go imports pictures into wrong folders, with wrong dates!!! Although dates are correct in files! Annoying!
