Media Go Syncing

My phone (Xperia Ray) appears to resync ALL media content each time I connect it to Media Go (2.0 build 317). Is there a setting I can select to stop this as it's very inconvenient when I only want to add one new song and it automatically recopies everything I have stored on the phone?

Currently my phone is set up to sync a selection of playlists - it appears to rewrite (overwrite) them each time I connect it...

Try this: Media Go--Tools--Preferences--Devices--Highlight your device/phone and click on Properties (at the bottom)--General--Here, Untick "Synchronize recent media with device".

hey everyone,

                      i have the same problem with my Aino. This problem wasn't found in the previous versions of media go. everytime i sync my playlists after i add some new songs, media go sync all the playlist & replace the songs or duplicate it & consume my memory. it says that the song version on my phone is different from the one on media go and both are the same in properties ?!!! i've tried wut u mentioned Dr_Chris & didn't work.it's so silly to resyn all the media evrytime i iwanna add just one or two songs and SE must give us an update to fix this bug & quickly.

Hi I tried this but it didn't work...I really really appreciate the help though. Any other ideas? I have exactly the same problem...it resyncs everything on my phone each time.

Hi, if you download the latest version of Media Go (version 2.1, Build 392), after connecting the phone and clicking on Phone, at the top-right of the screen you will see the Overview and Sync Media tabs: make sure that you select Overview, although when I connect my W995, the Overview tab is highlighted by default.However, this may be different for other phones.Hope this helps.

I finally got my new 32GB SD and I've been trying to sync my music and podcasts to my Xperia Mini but as others have said it resyncs everything over and over.

I noticed that when I first connect the device and it says updating, it sees that I have some of my music already synched. But after that it resyncs everything anyway. 24GB of music and 12GB of podcasts resynched drives you crazy.

I have told it not to prepare any files for the device, not even recent media but that has not worked unfortunately. I'm using 2.1 build 392 also.

p.s. I have just tried another port of Sony ICS but this one has DSP manager on it and the audio is unreal...I cannot WAIT to fix this Media Go problem.

This doesn't happen with the W995, so I guess this issue is specific to particular phones.
