Master Reset Xperia M not Working .. Help

Hi Friends .. i want to Master Reset my xperia M single sim version. I found that Volume up+Power button will take me to a menu where i can master reset my phone.But when i press the keys together i didnt get any menu simply i was redirected to the home screen.. Kinldy help ..

If you press and hold power & volume up for about 5 seconds it will restart your phone
