Out of the blue, my aqua m4 has started working very slowly. The apps take an age to open and sometimes won't open at all, it just crashes. Upon trying to reboot, the screen will just go blue and the reboot procedure just keeps cycling through. It'll only restart once shut down and restarted. I removed the memory card and for a short while the phone seemed to work like normal, but it has again gone back to being very slow.
I have tried doing a restore via xperia companion, but still no improvement. It seems like it has no ram or the ram has developed a fault.
Previous to this I had an xperia L which was a great little budget phone and that now runs far quicker than the m4.
I don't run many aditional apps, currently I don't have any 3rd party ones installed and the m4 is still dog slow. I bought it in april 16 and to be perfectly frank, I am fuming about this. I fully expect a phone to last more than 4 months. It has never been miss-treated, always kept in a case. It was an expensive luxury to me, so has been treated as such. I don't have money to burn on fancy phones. I just want a phone I can check e-mails on, call people and take reasonable decent point and shoot pictures. Very dissapointed to be honest.
Build number is 26.1.A.3.111
Do you have a lot of texts stored ? settings > storage > how much free internal storage does it has?
Nothing, it is completely blank, like a brand new, box fresh phone. I can only assume it has developed a fault or has a virus that doing a recovery hasn't got rid of.
It has 2gb left of the 8gb storage. Adroid takes 4gb and 2gb taken by the pre-installed apps. Currently have 1 text message on the phone
repair it with XC, if that doesn't work, contact your Local support
Alternatives on How to backup Xperias
already tried the repair via xc 😞
OK, thanks for the help
