M4 Aqua not connecting to DZ09 smartwatch

I bought a new DZ09 smartwatch for cheap and everywhere said that my phone and this should be compatible, so I bought it and when I try to connect the watch can see my phone and my phone cannot see the watch and if I try to pair from the watch it waits 30 seconds and then say pairing failed and I get no notification on my phone. Please help.

did the smartwatch came with a instruction manual? maybe it needs a 3rd party app to connect.
