m4 aqua kept draining while charging

Someone please help me, I'm a little bit lost and panicking rn. I bought my Sony about 3 months ago and I rarely got problems with my phone. But rn my phone won't charge and idk what to do
When I charged my phone the LED turned red as usual and the battery symbol said that it was charged. But somehow the battery kept draining and I'm afraid I won't be able to charge my phone again. My phone battery now is 24%
Someone please tell me what to do, thankyou

Welcome to the community,

Generally this happens when an app is running in the background which is consuming more battery then what the charger can supply.

You would be best to power off the device and then start the charge process, turn the device back on after around 30 seconds.

 Hi jake, thank you for the advice. My phone shuts down by now and is on a charging process. I've tried what you said, but it kept wont turning on. Does it have to do with something else, like maybe my charger is broken or the electricity's no strong enough?

This can be a possibility, you may try another cable, charger or plug and see if it makes any difference.

Are you saying that the device is not turning on now? or do you mean that there is still no charge?
