The NFC depends of the sim card? Nfc may operate without nfm cim card?

My nfc dont works and my company say me thats is beacause my sims is old. Thats is true?

The NFC should not depend on the SIM.

It depends on what you want to do with the NFC.

If you want to read NFC tags, you do not need a NFC Sim cards (your NFC  mobile is enough).

If you want to use some NFC Services (like payments using the NFC through your mobile, you need a NFC sim card).
