LTE speed drop after 18.1.C.1.13 update

I am experiecing around 30% drop on LTE speed , most noticable where Signal Streng is low (about -85 dbm). Also Wi-Fi download speed has droped about 50%.

My Phone had 18.0.C.0.37 and I update to 18.1. C.1.13.

This problem also exists on version 18.1.C.0.21 and I could confirm in a Test Side-by-Side with a Phone that still had 18.0.C.0.37.

I already did a Phone Repair with PPC, several Factory Reset, several Boot in Safe Mode, Reset APN and Download APN from Internet and nothing helps.

Hi have you tried a security app i have the free norton 360 from googleplay and it helped alot . Make sure you back up your phone first then use the boost option it should speed up your phone .

In the mean time I did uptade to 18.3.1.C.1.15 and seems there is still problems. Booting in Safemode and rebooting in Normal Mode, the LTE download speed drops totally to 2G speed. Shuting down and rebooting, brings LTE back.

But the initial Speed drop is still there.

I have the feeling that there are problems with the system setting the correct LTE parameters.

Hi,

There is an Oscilation ( Fall down and Forward) on the Download Speed and specially on the upload speed on Firmware 18.3.1.C.1.15.

That was not present on the original Firmware 18.3.0.C.0.37.

I think there is some sort of miss adjunting on the Antena Gain / Radios sensivity thus resulting also in a high battery drain.
