Settings > about phone > which model do you have?
Does your network support LTE? which bands?
Make sure that you have a new SIM card and that your carrier/network has enabled this service in your account.

Welcome to the community.
Usually it will activate immediately when you enter your SIM card. If it does not however, go to Settings > More > Internet Settings.
You might also wish to call your network to make sure LTE is enabled on your account.
