LT28i ICS and Smartdock issue

Anyone with the Smartdock and running the LT28i version of ICS is your ion detecting the smartdock correctly in the Smart Connect (liveware) app?  I even did a complete wipe and had it completely stock but Smart Connect will not detect the smartdock or a livedock.  It sees when I have just the usb cable plugged in as being just the charger but neither dock is detected nor can I select either dock in the setup of Smart Connect.

I was able to replicate this. But I don't know if this is supposed to be supported or not but I will forward this and get back to you when I have an answer.

I have the same problem as well after update to 4.04, couldn't dected. Beside that the sound is low. I went to my local sony center (Hong Kong) still not fix, they down grade my phone back to version 2..3.7 6.0.F.0.72. I just wonder when the problems fix! Should I update the version to 6.0.F.0.111!

I have been checking this with a colleague of mine and changes have been made in Smart Connect. You will now need to go into Smart Connect and add a new event. Then add a device to that event, like SmartDock. Then add what actions you would like to be made when you connect your Ion to the SmartDock. Save it and the next time you dock your phone that event will be triggered and your selected actions will start.

Yes I understand how Smart Connect works and differs from Liveware Manager previously.  The problem is that when you go into Smart Connect and try to add a new event you can't select the Smartdock or Livedock in the list of devices even after you have it plugged into either of the docks.  It never gets detected so it can't be selected from the list.

I have confirmed that Smart Connect works on the LT28h and LT28at ICS firmwares but on the LT28i firmware the docks are not detected.

Please fix the smartdocks problems, it couldn't rotate screen when connect to LT28i and couldn't recongize smart connect, cause I really wants to upgrade my LT28i to ICS. Beside that the 'Screen lock sounds' volume is lower than version 2.3.7 and also when you dial numbers press 7,8,9 volume is higher than other numbers, please check as well.

I have the exact same problem, glad it's not only me. when you pay a relatively high price for a Sony accessory, the least you can expect is for it to work.

Still not fixed in the recent 6.1.E.2.29 update.

I got the same problem. Smart Connect doesn't work on either Smartdock or Livedock. Hope Sony can fix it at soon.
