LT26 wont restore !!

Yesterday did a PC companion repair on my phone, backed it up first when prompted, but now it wont restore.

Any ideas ?

PC companion is notorious for not restoring data from backup - I gave up using it a while back - now use Super backup which can be set to backup to internal storage or external USB using OTG cable.

Thanks, i'll find a new way of backing it up.

Any other ways to restore the existing data ?

some people have had success restoring different parts at a time but contacts and messages seem to be the main issue where they refuse to restore

Swtich off your phone..
After 5 sec turn it on..
Put it on flight mode..

Connect your phone to PC & use PC companion latest version..

Browse to your backup and click on restore..

after restoring, turn off ur phone again and after 5 sec switch it on..
Go to ur contacts, touch on done button..
And you are done..
