Low volume on calls and speakerphone on my Xperia ZR

Hi

The volume for calls and speakerphone is really low. Is there a software update coming for the problem or is it hardware related?

Have tried different settings and the call volume got a little better (but not god enough compared to other phones I used) but the speakerphone is almost useless if you want to do conferenscalls. Pretty much have to have the phone to my ear in speakerphone-mode.

I just bought the phone and it hasn't been in water. I updated it with PC Companion and it didn't get any better.

Anything else I can do to improve de sound?

Otherwise I thing it's great but I often use the phone in speaker mode and in my car and then the volume is not good enought for normal calls.

Well, it's hard for me to determinate if there is something wrong with the phone or not. I haven't experienced the sound as to low myself so there might be something wrong with the phone. As you've tried updating the software I think we can rule out software issues. You can always send in the phone to a service center for a repair.
