Low Battery life.. Please help!! :(

Anyone could help me with battery life? My xperia s has annoyingly short battery life. My biggest problem is the screen. It takes up to 78%  battery. Even with the lowest possible brightness, my battery drain too fast and i'm fed up with it. BTW i have custom ROM cm11.. any suggestions? also if you guys know low battery consuming ROM then comment please! Thanks.

Reinstall the custom ROM and check again or double check with the devs
