lose sim card detection

I received the new phone today and after a half day usage, I noticed that if I use my phone for a short period , it loses the sim card detection (like no sim card inserted) and I cannot make or receive any calls. I need to restart my phone a few times before it detect my sim again.

the message I got is no sim detected or cannot read sim card.

Please help me, it's very annoying since I have no confidence in this phone anymore.

how old is your SIM card?

is it a micro SIM card or did you trim the Sim card?

Sim card is 4 months old. Was a standard sim size before i trim it to micro sim.

I would think that's the issue, I had a similar issue, just get a brand new micro SIM card

I've conducted more tests: it seems to occur when the phone is heating, without any networking usage, (I was listening to local mp3s, wifi and data off)

again it is normal that the phone gets hot if you are charging or using your phone.

check the phone's temperature

either with service menu or any temp app

OK, I've ordered a new sim card, I'll see if it's better
