Loose back cover

Loose back cover

Is there a reason why the back cover does not click solid into place, making the back cover rather loose, on the bottom-left of the device?

There is a small hole on the bottom-left on the inside of the back cover, but the matching spot on the device itself also has hole, instead of those three little bumps which are on the middle of the device's sides. A hole can't click into another hole, you know? I have not yet found a picture of an Xperia active that does not have this build error.

(The first picture is from a review because I was unable to take a picture of the phone with the phone itself)

Okay, I have done some more research and it gets stranger: the graphic back cover instruction in my "My First Hour" manual does not show three bumps at bottom of the side either, while I have now found a picture of an Xperia active that DOES have the bumps there. Please tell me, why is this?

Also, is it normal that my black back cover (the outer one) was produced 5 weeks earlier (12w11) than the phone (12w16) itself? And the white back cover is even older..

i was also worried about the click sound but i guess it is designed so greatfully that wen it falls these gaps and holes balance the extra energy when on impact and absorbs it to prevent any damage .

I have no information on why, and I can't answer to the reasons for this. But I can confirm that my active looks just like yours if I understand you correctly.

Okay, I just think it's kind of strange that apparently most Xperia actives don't have the bumps at the bottom-left of the device to click into the back cover's bottom-left while some others do have them. Slightly_smiling_Face
