Long Pressing power key starts playing ringtone

Hello Experts,

     Long pressing the Power Key to capture the screen shot or any other purpose, my mobile starts playing ringtone. I dont see any option to stop it.

the only option is to retart the phone.

Can anyone please help me to deactivate this function of playing ringtone by Long pressing the Power Key.

Long pressing the power button should bring up the power menu. Do you at least get this?

Yes I get the scree with multiple options of Shut Down, Restart, Screen Capture and Video Capture. But along with this it starts playing ringtone which I am not able to stop except restarting the cell..

Pls help

Boot on safe mode and try to recreate the problem. also, does your phone has a protective case that might be pressing on the volume while you press the power key?

Have you recently downloaded any app like this?
