Locking Problem with new update 14.3.A.0.757 and external Sd card

I cant store dat from 3rd party program in the ex. Sd card, after the last update. I am using the backCountry Nav. I  traing to chainge storge  root but after the update has locked the ext Sdmemory.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

This probably has to do with changes made in Android 4.4. In Android 4.4 an installed app doesn't have full access to the external SD card. The app may however create its own folder on the external SD card and save data there if supported by the app.

From what i've been able to find about this app you should use this path if you want to use the external SD: /storage/sdcard1/Android/Data/com.crittermap.backcountrynavigator.license/files

You may also need to update the app as it seems support for external SD in Android 4.4 was added in version 5.3.0 of the app.

The new update is 761 but i have not recieved it in India. How to get it tried both pc and mobile
