Locked Bootloader

Hi .....I have a bootloader locked phone.....with the network now unlocked.....I spent over an hour with O2 who insisted my bootloader is locked by Sony and not at their request.....When the phone code is entered it advise "Bootloader Unlock - No"  O2 are insistant I need to speak to Sony so they can unlock it.....I have said it is done at their request and they need to request it.....They were adamant I could only do this through requesting it from Sony.....I love this phone, but not being able to root it is wasting a lot of great software I purchased.

Can anybody please help/advise?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Please be aware that if the Bootloader Unlock status says "No" then you are unable to unlock the bootloader by any means. Neither the network or Sony are able to alter this sorry.
