I m getting a problem after Updation of 4.2.2. The lock screen continuously blinking faster while i'm playing walkman music(lock screen wallpaper is displayed), Only the lock screen music controlls are not working but, when i swipe screen the phone unlocks & works normally, means the lock screen media controll buttons are blinking and not working I have uploaded the video please see this video and give me a solution...
I to face the same problem,but in my case the touch is not working and the phone is not responding. If I remove my head set the phone responds and flicking or blinking starts after few seconds it comes in to normal position.
I am using Xperia L Jelly Bean 4.2.2, and the new walkman update 7.15.A.0.0.I had also installed Sony Smart Key App to control walkman music (Play, Pause, Next and Previous Track) and calls. After disabling the Music (Default) option, now the flickering on lock screen (while playing walkman music) is not there!
the problem of lock screen blinking or flickering while playing music or on restart is solved. i found the culprit. and that is SONY JIVE application. Just remove it. as removal is not possible because that is sony pre installed app, so you can do 1 one thing, just follow the step.
1. go to setting
2.application
3.sony jive
4.diable it
5.force close.
6. Restart phone, now see the result problem is solved. enjoy
faced the same problem of lockscreen Walkman widget, the smart key uninstall worked for me, thanks everybody. Didn't expect such a buggy phone from SONY.....too many software bugs, even after so many updates. doesn't feel like a finished product.... disappointed by SONY..... unforgivable! 😞
