I use a couple of apps with geofencing: Domoticz and Nefit Easy app. Both intended to send a signal when I get home or go away.
It seems that the location services on the SP only becomes active when the app needing it is running in the foreground: For instance: when I open the Nefit app the satellite indicating the gps is working starts flashing and searches the SP's location at that time. But when the app is running on the background the geofencing options are not working properly.
It really would be nice if the app also indicates my location when running in the background.
Is there a way to improve this?
