Hi, I'm getting fed up with this. i got my Liveview yesteday and have been trying to connect it to the computer so i can update the software, but everything I've tried has failed to get the driver to install.
I'm using windows 7, and have reinstalled the Sony Ericsson PC Companion several times after reading that this could help but to no avail. Windows fails to find the driver automaticaly and if I specify to look in the sony pc companion file (or /c>sony ericsson pc companion>drivers) it still fails to find the driver.
All the posts i've read seem to talk about the update manager software rather than PC companion, and from looking at youtube, that looks like a different/older version of the software im using but i cant find that any where!?
can anybody post the correct drivers I need for the Liveview running on windows 7, or tell me how the hell im supposed to get them installed some other way????
Pleeeeeease?!?
Me too, this is so frustrating. This device is next to useless without the update.
Hi GreenGit and Hobchild, update your LiveView™ device with Update Service.
Download and install to PC/Laptop, launch it and follow on-screen instructions.

Thanks Slim, incorrect link removed.
no problemo
But windows can't install the drivers and therefore SEUS can't find my Liveview. It just gets to the connect part and never confirms.
I would suggest updating with another PC/Laptop.
Lol I was just in the process of doing that when I read your post. It worked and so far so good with sorting the bugs. Thank you.:smileyhappy:
Glad that it worked.
