Liquid Damage

Hi there,

So a friend dropped my phone into a half full sink of water, only the bottom was submerged and I turned it off straight away. That was Friday night and I've had it sitting in a bag of rice since. It won't turn on but the light does come on when its put on charge. Does anyone think I might be able to salvage it? Would a phone repair shop be able to help me out? Oh and no, it's not insured, it was only to last me until May until my upgrade comes in!

Try to connect it to wall socket,charge for 1 hour and repair via sony update service:

Hey there! So I tried the above soloution! The computer isn't recognising that a device is even connected? I take it this means i need more help, ie. it needs to be repaired?!

Yes,you have two links for contacting xperia care,it might need repairing.
