Linux support for Xperia S

After compiling the latest version of libmtp and gMTP on Ubuntu 12.10, I can transfer files with great delay. But offcourse this is a crappy solution.

So when will Sony bring us decent Linux support for the Xperia S?

Unfortunately I have no info at the moment when any software for Linux will be released.
