Light leaking through Headphone jack

I don't know if this is normal but at full brightness in a dark room (no light), I noticed that I could see light coming through the 3.5 mm audio jack. Is this normal or will it affect waterproofing?

i can see some light coming from the headphone jack so i assume its normal.

Yeah its normal!!!! In almost all of the phones that I have used, I could see the light through the headphone jack!!!
