Light from LED leaks into side of photo

Hi

When using the camera with the LED flash activated, the side of the photo (the side towards the LED) gets a bright white shine. Only explanation I can think of is that light from the LED leaks into the camera lens somehow.

Is this a known problem on Xperia J, or do I have a broken device that should be repaired/replaced?

I suggest that you try to run a software reinstall using SUS, to check if it might be related to software.

Thanks a lot for your reply!

I have tried your suggestion to upgrade firmware.

Unfortunately I managed to fail with the upgrade... The phone gets into upgrade mode, green led lights up, upgrade starts and ... immediately fails (green led is turned off).

Any suggestions from you or someone else would be much appreciated.
