LED Notification Fix

Is there going to be a fix released by Sony Ericsson to make the LED Notifications work correctly on the Xperia X2?

Hi,

Can you be more detailed about what you are experiencing or point me to other examples of this? I want to pass this information on, but I'll need to get as much detail as possible.

In the "sounds and notification" settings there is the option to enable the LED illumincations noticiation, which I have done, and have set it to "no limit" so it would flash forever until the message is picked up, as was the case with the X2. However whenever the X2 recieves an SMS text message you will get the sound but no illumination. The only time the illumination will work is when you are using the phone and a message comes in, if the screen is off in standy then no led's.

There hasn't been an official answer yet other than SEJeff's reply of its being looked into, and he will get back to us ASAP. Until then we can just hope and wait.

actually I don't know if it is at all a SE problem, or if it is a Bill Gates problem. I had an old HP iPAQ 6315 with Windows PocketPc 2003 and it had the same notification problem. The
iPAQ had to be powered to illuminate. Maybe that is why they (SE) don't answer immediatelly...

I'm not to sure of that, as the HTC HD2 has a LED that can be illumimated all times when the phone is in standby as well as powered on, and SE have done it in the past with the Xperia X1, so not sure why they have been unable to fix the fault on the X2

so then it's their fault. we can only wait, speak to eachother or move to HTC. Noone from SE seems to be interested to solve our problems...
