LED colour chossing not working

Hi, I want to say that my experience with the phone has been quite good. Right now I'm using my C4 with Android 5.0 because I had the same phone with 5.1 but I returned it to the dealer because of battery draining problem with 5.1 version.

Right now the phone battery lasts what it's meant to be (5.0 android) but I'm having another problem which is LED colour for notifications, I can see it's not working properly when trying to representate colours different than Red, Blue or Green, which works good, but for example setting whatsapp with Cyan colour doesn't actually work, so I tried downloading an app to test the LED and it can't represent the colours I want.

So, basically, what can I do? wait until Android 6.0 arrives? because I don't want to upgrade to 5.1 which is the current version for my phone, because battery lasts just 8 hs.

Another problem I also recognized in 5.0 is that there's RAM leaks and in idle state 1GB is totally used, which in 5.1 was fixed to half GB, using 400 MB average.

Thanks

There isn't much to suggest here, if you do update the phone to 5.1 > reinstall a clean update soon after > this will smooth things out.

And the led is controlled via hardware, some leds are single state rather than multi state. Meaning that the led include just the the primary colors but cant combine them to get more. It's not a bug, it's just supposed to be like this.

I'll have to say a different thing. The hardware supports LED colour, so in the picture I've managed to get the color I want with Light Manager from the play store, so again I'm confirming something is wrong with Android 5.0.

What I've found? is that when you configure a notification LED color with no frequency, the color gets represented, but when you put something like a second or more, the color doesn't acts as it is expected.

That's because it's a led in a single state. You can't combine them.

Pizzini, I've been playing with the device. You cannot change or mix colors as it's software configured to use just 3+1 color combinations. It's deep into the android configuration, unless you root the device (and void the warranty) you won't be able to add more led color profiles to the device.
